About STAASH
Why was STAASH built?
STAASH started from a personal problem. Our co-founder’s wife runs a homegrown D2C brand on Shopify — and like every independent brand founder, she faced the same challenge: discovery and repeat purchase on mobile require either heavy ad spend on Meta and Google, or listing on marketplaces that take 15–35% commission. STAASH is the shared mobile layer that solves this without either compromise.
Is STAASH a marketplace?
No. Marketplaces commoditise every brand they list, sorting by price and pushing brands to compete on discounts. STAASH is a discovery platform built specifically to help independent brands keep their identity, story, and customer relationships while reaching new shoppers together.
Where is STAASH based?
STAASH is built by Collaboratory Digital LLP, based in Bengaluru, India.
Is STAASH only for Indian brands?
STAASH is starting with India’s homegrown D2C brands, with a platform-independent architecture designed to expand beyond India over time.
For shoppers
What is STAASH?
STAASH is India’s multi-brand shopping app for homegrown D2C brands. Instead of visiting a dozen different brand websites, shoppers discover and buy from multiple independent brands in one place — one cart, one checkout.
How is STAASH different from Amazon or Flipkart?
Marketplaces sort every brand by price and sponsored placement, which buries smaller homegrown brands and pushes them toward heavy discounting. STAASH is built specifically for independent D2C brands — no price-sorted commoditisation, no private-label competition, and a much lower commission so brands keep more of what they earn.
Can I buy from multiple brands in one order?
Yes. Add products from any brand on STAASH to a single cart and check out once. Each brand fulfils its own items, but you only pay once and track everything in one place.
How do I track orders from different brands?
All your orders — regardless of which brand they came from — appear together in your STAASH order history, so you do not need to check multiple brand websites or couriers separately.
Is STAASH available on iOS and Android?
STAASH is currently available on the web at staash.in, optimised for mobile browsers. Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap.
What payment methods does STAASH accept?
STAASH supports UPI, credit and debit cards, and net banking through Razorpay.
How does STAASH handle returns and refunds?
Returns and refunds are handled per-brand under each brand’s stated policy. STAASH consolidates the requests inside your order history and coordinates the refund settlement back to your original payment method. Full policy details: staash.in/privacy.
Does STAASH charge shipping per brand or per order?
STAASH charges ₹99 flat per order — not per brand. Shipping is free on orders above ₹999, no matter how many brands you’ve stacked into the cart.
For brands
How can my brand join STAASH?
Visit staash.in/sellers and connect your Shopify (or WooCommerce) store via OAuth. The process takes about 60 seconds — your catalogue syncs automatically and you can be live on STAASH the same day.
Does STAASH work with Shopify?
Yes. STAASH is built natively on Shopify OAuth. Brands connect their existing Shopify store directly — no need to rebuild your catalogue or manage a separate inventory system. WooCommerce stores are supported too.
What commission does STAASH charge?
STAASH charges 6–10% commission, significantly lower than the 15–35% typical of large marketplaces — so more of every sale stays with your brand.
Do I lose access to my customer data on STAASH?
No. Unlike marketplaces, STAASH delivers full shopper data to your brand after every order. The customer relationship belongs to you — always.
How does STAASH pay out sales?
STAASH collects payment on your behalf and settles net proceeds to your bank account fortnightly via NEFT/IMPS.
Will my brand compete with a STAASH private label?
No. STAASH does not manufacture or sell its own products. We are a discovery and commerce layer for independent brands — never a competitor to the brands on our platform.
Do I need a Shopify store to join STAASH?
STAASH currently onboards brands via Shopify or WooCommerce OAuth. Support for additional e-commerce platforms is planned. If you’re on a different stack, please reach out via staash.in/sellers.
How long does it take to get live on STAASH?
Most brands are live within the same day — catalogue sync typically completes within 15 minutes of connecting your store.
Which brands are currently on STAASH?
Purecloth and IndyVarna are live on STAASH today, with more homegrown brands joining soon. Browse the full list at staash.in/brands.
